How does the Decktent attach to my boat? Won’t it blow away?
The Decktent features two height-adjustable straps on each leg. These straps can be easily secured to any fixed part of the boat, whether it’s a stanchion, the handrail or a cleat. This makes it impossible for your Decktent to ‘blow away’.

Can I sail with my Decktent fitted, or do I have to take it down every time?
You can sail with your Decktent fitted. No problem! On most sailing boats there’s no issue, as, if necessary, the genoa can pass smoothly over the inflatable structure. As for sailing speed, on a sailing boat there’s no problem; they don’t usually reach 10 knots…
On a motorboat, you can sail comfortably at up to 25 knots. Decktent features extra lashing loops on both the front and rear arches so you can secure safety lines and sail smoothly from one end of the boat to the other…

We recommend using an electric pump, preferably one with a high air flow rate, although it doesn’t need to reach very high pressure.
The first time, when you’re not sure exactly where to attach it to your boat, we recommend following the instructions in the video:
First inflation
Afterwards, once you know where to attach it to your boat, you can start by securing it and then inflating it; once it reaches the required pressure, it will lift itself up and you’ll simply need to adjust it and finish inflating it.
Can I inflate it using my paddleboard pump?
We don’t recommend it – it might take too long. Bear in mind that a paddleboard requires around 150 litres of air, whereas a size M Decktent needs approximately 3,000 litres…
I’m not sure if it’ll fit my boat… What can I do?
