How does the Decktent attach to my boat? Won\u2019t it blow away?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Decktent features two height-adjustable straps on each leg. These straps can be easily secured to any fixed part of the boat, whether it\u2019s a stanchion, the handrail or a cleat. This makes it impossible for your Decktent to \u2018blow away\u2019.<\/p>\n

How do I attach it to my boat?<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Can I sail with my Decktent fitted, or do I have to take it down every time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can sail with your Decktent fitted. No problem! On most sailing boats there\u2019s no issue, as, if necessary, the genoa can pass smoothly over the inflatable structure. As for sailing speed, on a sailing boat there\u2019s no problem; they don\u2019t usually reach 10 knots\u2026<\/p>\n

On a motorboat, you can sail comfortably at up to 25 knots. Decktent features extra lashing loops on both the front and rear arches so you can secure safety lines and sail smoothly from one end of the boat to the other\u2026<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHow do I inflate it?<\/strong>

We recommend using an electric pump, preferably one with a high air flow rate, although it doesn\u2019t need to reach very high pressure.

The first time, when you\u2019re not sure exactly where to attach it to your boat, we recommend following the instructions in the video:

Afterwards, once you know where to attach it to your boat, you can start by securing it and then inflating it; once it reaches the required pressure, it will lift itself up and you\u2019ll simply need to adjust it and finish inflating it.

Can I inflate it using my paddleboard pump?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We don\u2019t recommend it \u2013 it might take too long. Bear in mind that a paddleboard requires around 150 litres of air, whereas a size M Decktent needs approximately 3,000 litres\u2026<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
